{"id":2158,"date":"2019-05-22T20:33:41","date_gmt":"2019-05-22T20:33:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/schoonschipamsterdam.org\/2019\/05\/22\/reizen-met-je-smartphone\/"},"modified":"2021-12-05T09:15:33","modified_gmt":"2021-12-05T09:15:33","slug":"reizen-met-je-smartphone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/schoonschipamsterdam.org\/en\/2019\/05\/22\/reizen-met-je-smartphone\/","title":{"rendered":"Travelling with your smart phone"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><b class=\"\"><i class=\"\">Next Urban Mobility opens a mobility hub with sustainable cars for the residents of Schoonschip<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><b class=\"\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The 46 households of the floating residential area Schoonschip in Amsterdam-North are the first users <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">of the mobility hub HUUB of Next Urban Mobility<\/span>. <span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">HUUB does not only offer electric cars, but also (cargo) bicycles and scooters.<\/span> <span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Sustainable transport for everyone, which can be booked and used with a smartphone.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\"> In addition, HUUB also offers a mobility card for use of public transport.<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><b class=\"\">Mobility hub<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">What makes HUUB unique at Schoonschip is the availability of shared sustainable transport at a location for a large group of users. In addition to sustainable mobility, HUUB also offers a solution for urban areas with limited (parking) space. Individual parking spaces and permits are making way for shared mobility. Via the HUUB app, residents can take out various subscriptions with their smartphone, tailored to their personal needs. After choosing the right means of transport for the trip, the electric car, (cargo) bicycle or scooter is unlocked with a QR code.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">From 11 May, HUUB will have the following means of transport available for the first residents of Schoonschip: 6 electric cars Volkswagen e-Golf, 4 Gazelle e-bikes and a Volkswagen e-Crafter for freight transport around the relocation of residents to Schoonschip. To this end, circular building materials were used for paving and lighting from, among others, the former Bijlmerbajes. The charging stations are fed with green energy from Dutch windmills. The project was made possible in part by the CTO Innovation Team of the Municipality of Amsterdam.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Hopefully, in the future, residents of Schoonschip will also be able to travel sustainably with HUUB. Depending on initial experiences and available parking space, the mobility hub may be opened to everyone in order to make smart electric transport accessible and available to even more people.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><b class=\"\"><i class=\"\"><br class=\"\" \/>About Next Urban Mobility<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Next Urban Mobility develops, implements and manages mobility hubs for the business and private market.
